Claude Gmail Access ("the app") is a private, single-user automation tool operated by Deyao Chen for his own personal use.
The app accesses the Gmail mailbox of the account owner (chendeyao000@gmail.com) via Google's Gmail API, using OAuth credentials granted by that same account owner, in order to read and send email on the owner's behalf.
Email data is used solely to carry out tasks the account owner requests of his own AI assistant. Data is not sold, and is not shared with any third party beyond Google (the API provider) and the owner's own tooling. The app has no other users.
The app does not maintain a separate long-term store of mailbox contents; it reads and sends messages on demand. OAuth tokens are stored securely (encrypted) and can be revoked by the owner at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
